There is so much power in God’s Word.  Getting God’s Word means that your filter system is not the values of this world or your own opinions or someone else’s opinion, but your filter system is God’s Word that is the truth that never changes.

Love is patient.  Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. The only thing you can really only control is your heart. You can’t control other things. God is in control of other things.  He can change your circumstances in an instant, but He is actually looking for our hearts to change to be more like him.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude.  It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.  Love never fails.
